Fantasy Football is here to stay!

Fantasy Football is here to stay. In this world of football everyone can play.  This is a great thing. It's everywhere.....the gym, the local sports bar, the office. Leagues pop up and they're off and running. Fantasy football has made the NFL interactive which is huge in  todays interactive world.  No sweat, no grass drills, no coach in your face for missed plays. I'm dreaming right?! Corporate America has gone bonkers over it, just ask your co-worker. Fantasy football has over 20 million participants. Next week is the prime time for leagues to hold their annual drafts, meaning millions of people will be spending lots of cash for draft kits, magazines, league fees, etc. I've never played, but am feeling the need to compete. Just think about it, all from the sitting position, enjoying a cold soda.What's your take on it?

Pop Warner Football Opening Ceremonies

This past Saturday, I went to the POP WARNER Opening Cermony at OPAA where I started. The look in the kids' and parents' eyes gave me goose bumps. This progam is a great foundation for children to learn teamwork and togetherness. Whether your child starts or not is not important. The memories they gain and the friendships they make will last forever.

From Farve to Romo to Vick....who's your pick to shine this year as the starting QB? My pick is Vick.......Why u say?..........HE'S hungry! Jail time, shootings, and from a starter to second string...not that the others aren't hungry. Farve will need a miracle to repeat last season and Romo will be NOMO. Pookie has spoken.
